Yoga Sports

The six disciplines of Yoga Sports: Artistic Yoga, Rhythmic Yoga, Athletic Yoga, Yoga Dance, Yoga Asanas or Hatha Yoga, Acrobatic Yoga or Acro Yoga Sport.

From 1989 every year the international yoga sports federation have world yoga championship of the six disciplines of yoga sports in Asia, America and Europe.

Artistic Yoga Sports

Aesthetic asanas fo body, arms, legs and face connected together by way of passages, hooks, and links, simulating a cascade of yoga asanas and mudra with music.
Artistic Yoga need coordination, rhythmic movements, timing, breath, drishti, moving concetration and music. But most importantly is incorporate emotivity, energy control, introspection, intuition, and expression of feeling. The Artistic Yoga has its own technique and is not the same as other forms of Yoga flow. Dharmachari Maitreyananda (Fernando Estevez-Griego) was the creator, inventor and founder of the discipline in 1970. At the time, the asanas never are playing with music, hooks, passages and links. In 1987 was the first festival of Artistic Yoga, in Montevideo and Punta del Este, and in 1989 was the first world yoga cup. Now the Artistic Yoga is real fashion in India, Asia, America and Europe.
